Help: My E7400 temp is HOT

Preparing for Engine Upgrade...!!!

My E7400 temp is HOT

Hi Guys...

Gw baru upgrade kompi dengan spek :
Proc : E7400 + HSF bawaan intel
Mobo : Asus P5Q
RAM : Corsair PC6400 2Gb
PSU : Silverstone 500watt

Selesai rakit... langsung boot ke windows tanpa settingan bios tambahan (AI Tweaker set AUTO semua)...
Cek proci dengan CPUID... proci cuma nyampe 1.6Ghz (266mhz x 6)... 8| lho kenapa nih...
Setelah sekian lama bertapa di google akhirnya dapet petunjuk...
Disable C1E dengan Intel SpeedStep... Boot ke windows.. Cek dengan CPUID, akhirnya nyangkut juga ke 2.8Ghz (266mhz x 10.5) 8o (Ai Tweaker masih AUTO)...
Disinilah mulai timbul keraguan... gw coba test dengan prime95 buat pastiin aja temp nya semana, begitu test dalam 3 menit proci udah nyampe 68 C 8| (saat idle temp sekitar 38-41 C) karena gw tau max temp E7400 sampe 74.1 C langsung aj gw stop testnya (maklum masih newbie)... :D
Yang gw tanyain apa ini normal...? E7400 @2.8Ghz dengan VCore yg masih belum di utak atik (1.25 V)...? Apa yang harus gw lakuin supaya temp nya gak tinggi saat peak load (selain ganti HSF), mengingat banyaknya fitur OC di dalam bios Asus P5Q....? Apa bisa hanya dengan menurunkan VCorenya? Seberapa Banyak?

bisa saja bro menurunkan nilai Vcore nya, bisa beberapa step kebawah dari nilai defaultnya.
coba aja bro mulai turunin 1 step bro, trus di bench dulu, klo masih stabil masih bisa diturunin lagi.
ulangin langkah seperti itu juga, jika kurang stabil berarti sudah nilai minimal Vcore untuk stabil^^
Rata2 Vcore bisa di turunin 2-3 Step dari nilai defaultnya, dengan begitu nilai full load proc akan berkuramg^^

Kalo posisi default,trus tujuan nya cuma mo ngecek suhu mah jangan pake prime atuh..
Gunakan software yg sesuai bos..real temp atw everest kek..
Gw aja jrg pake tuh stability software kayak gitu..
Kelar o.c biasanya compie gw geber maen game ama jalanin aplikasi harian..kalo kg stabil ntar juga keluar tuh BSOD or nge hang..

Buat nge cek temp saat full load mending ente pake maen game2 berat ky GTA 4 n sejenis..
(Biasanya cpu akan ketarik sampe 100%)
Setelah beberapa menit coba cek lagi suhunya.. :bawang109:

biasanya klo game malah ada tenggang waktu bro buat idle jadi masih bisa bersantai sejenak:D
klo kaya jenis prome95 & orthos ga ada waktu buat idle tu proc, trus menerus di stress

1 step disini maksudnya gimna? dikurangin vcore sebesar 0.01...? atau 0.05...?

coba deh liat nilai defaultnya E7400 brp? liat di CPU-Z
nah klo default itu kan di pastinya settingan di biosnya klo ga default/auto.
turun kan nilai Vcore tersebut dari aslinya, tinggal liat nilai asli kemudian setting lebih rendah di pengaturan Vcore.turun kan satu step ke bawah biasanya si klo bios nya mantap bisa di kurangi 0.01, tapi klo ngurangi 0.05 satu step kebawah sudah cukup

Ada pengaruh gak dari kinerja proci klo VCorenya di kurangin...?
Sekarang vcore udah gw set ke 1.18v (Max Temp gw dapet 65 C) dari yg sebelumnya 1.25v...

itu si TS udah turun om suhu full load nya, suhu idelnya punya dye juga normal om,kata si TS sekitar 38-41c^^.
TS sekalian cek pegang HSF, sekalian diperiksa pengunci penguncinya^^

Gw rasa HSF udah pas deh, soalnya waktu gw stop prime95 suhu langsung turun drastis... ^^
Skarang vcore udah di 1.16(bios) 1.13(cpuid)... idle 36-38 max 63 C :S
Udah baca" di trhread sebelum"nya, katanya suhu 60-65 masih safe y... jdi lumayan lega deh... :)
