Dear rekan-rekan, kali ini mau present K40IN hands on. Notebook ini masuk kelas mainstream performance dengan harga di kisaran $609. Thanks to Astrindo Senayasa untuk mengirim sample K40 ke meja.
K40 yang gwe terima punya spesifikasi: - Pentium Dual Core T4200 2.0GHz, FSB 800MHz, L2 1MB - Motherboard chipset Nvidia nForce - 2GB RAM DDR800 - 250GB Hard disk - 14" LED display 1280x720 (16:9) - VGA: Nvidia Geforce G102M 512MB - DVD Super Multi - 1.3MPixel WebCam - Audio by Azalia and Altec Lansing speaker - 4 x USB 2.0 ports - Berat: 2.36Kg dengan baterai 6 cell - WLAN 802.11n tidak ada pre-install OS Untuk Hands-on ini, gwe cuma singkat test performa dan beberapa poto saja.  Box  AC Adaptor dan baterai 6 cell  Bundle  K40 fresh opened    Untuk exhaust system cooling, K40 ini punya exhaust di sisi top seperti pada poto di atas. Lalu sisi bottom banyak ventilasi.

K40IN ini memakai chipset nForce 730. Processor menggunakan Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 2GHz. Hal ini bisa dimaklumi mengingat harga yang ditawarkan adalah berkisar 600an USD. RAM adalah 2GB sodim DDR2-800MHz dengan latency 6-6-6-18. Bagaimanakah performanya? Gwe cuma mo test make Everest Bandwidth/Latency dan SiSoft Sandra.

Dan dengan performa seperti itu tampak sangat worthed banget in my opinion! Battery Life *STAND-BY, battery 97% - Balanced: 4 jam 20 menit, or more - High Performance: 3 jam 50 menit, or more - Power Saver: 4 jam 35 menit, or more  Gwe cuma bisa kasih info baterai charged @97% pada kondisi stand-by di Hands-on ini. Karena untuk umur baterai heavy in-use sangatlah subjektive. Bergantung pada pemakaian user, dalam hal ini software yang digunakan dan aktivitas pemakai. Selanjutnya dijadikan buat referensi aja boss. Well, cukup OK nih baterai di K40IN! K40 ini nyaman sekali digunakan, system responsive, tuts keyboard empuk dan besar, cukup ringan ditenteng. Kelemahan ada pada koneksi BlueTooth yang belum terintegrasi. Namun penawaran slot SD Card mungkin lebih bisa berfungsi untuk transfer data Salam, ast-cs

Untuk tipe K40IN dengan VGA G102M dan chipset nForce ada 2 seri, yakni yang memakai T4200 dan T6500. Untuk kali ini gwe test yang T4200 + nForce, for sure, value dengan performa beat Core 2 Duo T7200+i945
G102M juga pasti mudah diajak bermain desain grafis.
